Translations of the GSTC Standards

The GSTC Standards (known previously as GSTC Criteria) have been translated in several languages. The GSTC Hotel Standard and the GSTC Tour Operator Standard (formerly known as GSTC Industry Standard) and the GSTC Destination Standard have been translated by volunteers into several languages and are available to the public for ONLY education, training, and awareness purposes.

The recently launched GSTC MICE Standard and GSTC Attraction Standard are available in English. If you wish to volunteer to translate the GSTC MICE Standard or the GSTC Attraction Standard, kindly email us at standard@gstc.org

The translations should NOT be used for formal, technical purposes. Any formal use of the Standard must be based on the English originals and apply a certified translation if used in another language.

GSTC-D v2 refers to GSTC Standard for Destinations version 2 (2019)
GSTC-H refers to GSTC Hotel Standard with suggested performance indicators and comprehensive guidelines (2025)
GSTC-TO refers to GSTC Tour Operator Standard with suggested performance indicators and comprehensive guidelines (2025)
GSTC-M (venues) refers to MICE Venues with suggested performance indicators (2024)
GSTC-M (event organizers) refers to MICE Event Organizers with suggested performance indicators (2024)
GSTC-M (events) refers to MICE Events and Explositions with suggested performance indicators (2024)
GSTC-A refers to attractions, guiding businesses such as theme parks, museums, and national parks (2024)

While earlier versions of the Standard can be used for awareness and training, only the current versions can be applied to certification, awards, and measurement activities and programmes.
