[Etifor | Valuing Nature Staff]
Etifor’s Tourism program offers strategic guidance for achieving the highest sustainability standards and promoting regenerative and slow tourism for all stakeholders in the tourism system. Through this partnership, Etifor will deliver GSTC’s official training programs and become part of the global network of GSTC Training Partners.
“We are proud of this result and contribute to spreading the principles and practices of sustainable tourism. At Etifor, we believe that knowledge and collaboration are key to transforming destinations and organizations towards a more regenerative model — one that restores nature, empowers communities, and creates long-term value for all,” said Francesco Loreggian, Tourism Program Coordinator.
As a GSTC Training Partner and an active member of the GSTC Italy Working Group, Etifor plays a key role in advancing sustainable tourism practices in Italy through both training and promotion of the GSTC Standards. Over 20 Italian destinations have already achieved GSTC Certification. The largest number so far in a single country. See GSTC’s worldwide map here of Certified Sustainable Destinations.
The GSTC collaborates with partner organizations in various regions worldwide that support the GSTC’s mission to promote sustainable tourism knowledge and practices. These training partners work with authorized GSTC trainers to offer the official GSTC Sustainable Tourism Training Program (STTP) curriculum on behalf of the GSTC. Learn more here.
