EXAM & CERTIFICATE

GSTC Certificate in Sustainable TourismGSTC Professional Certificate in Sustainable Tourism

By completing this 3-day onsite course, you will meet the training requirement towards earning the GSTC Professional Certificate in Sustainable Tourism.

Once you complete the course, you will have have the option to take the GSTC Sustainable Tourism Training Exam. The exam takes place online, and you will have 4 weeks after the course to submit it. If you pass the exam, you will receive a Professional Certificate in Sustainable Tourism by the GSTC.

The certificate demonstrates your knowledge of sustainable tourism standards and practices.

GSTC Trainer

Diana Körner

Diana is an international sustainable tourism consultant and conservationist with more than a decade experience working in more than 10 countries for a range of clients from the public and private sector. She is the chair of the NGO Ecological Tourism in Europe – Linking Tourism and Conservation (ETE-LT&C) and co-founder of the Seychelles Sustainable Tourism Foundation (SSTF). Diana has been based in Zanzibar since 2020, where she was part of the managing team at Chumbe Island Coral Park and since 2024 appointed technical advisor on sustainable tourism for the Ministry of Tourism and Heritage focusing on sustainable tourism certification in the archipelago. She is an accredited GSTC trainer and has recently rolled out a training programme for 150 public sector representatives from Zanzibar on the destination standard. Diana holds a MSc in Strategic Tourism Management from SKEMA Business School in France.
