GSTC 日本会員向けワークショップ(札幌) 開催報告

-2025年9月24日、札幌市および一般社団法人サステナビリティ・コーディネーター協会(JaSCA)の共催により、「GSTC日本会員向け ミーティング&ワークショップ」が開催され、現地参加者45名、オンライン参加者50名以上が集いました。 会場は、1888年に建設された歴史的建造物「北海道庁旧本庁舎(赤れんが庁舎)」。改修を経て蘇った西洋建築の空間が、会合に特別な雰囲気を添えました。 本ワークショップは、GSTC会員向けイベントとして第4回目の開催。GSTC CEOのランディ・ダーバンド氏、GSTC理事の髙﨑崎邦子氏(JTBグループ常務執行役員、DEIBチーフオフィサー)、GSTCファイナンスディレクターの貝和慧美氏、GSTCアジア市場開発マネージャーのコン・スヒョン氏、日本市場開発マネージャーの大岩直美氏、GSTC会員コーディネーターのメイ ハン・フェン氏など、GSTCの主要メンバーが多数出席しました。 初回のワークショップは2023年9月に開催され、2024年5月、2025年2月と続き、今回が4回目の開催となりました。 JaSCAの青木代表は「GSTCワークショップを札幌で開催できたことを大変光栄に思います。天候にも恵まれ、北海道赤れんが庁舎という素晴らしい会場で、海外カンファレンスのような開放感を感じていただけたのではと思います。また、今回は郊外での交流機会や懇親会も設け、会員同士の繋がりを深める貴重な場となりました。」とコメント。 札幌市観光・MICE推進課の相原氏は「札幌での初めてのワークショップが成功裏に終了した事を大変嬉しく思います。GSTCの皆様や参加者の皆様との交流を通して、札幌における持続可能な観光の推進への意欲が更に高まりました」と語りました。 プログラムでは、ダーバンド氏より世界の持続可能な観光の動向や、フィジーで開催された「GSTC2025 グローバル・サステナブル・ツーリズム カンファレンス」のハイライト、GSTC認証の重要性、そして小規模企業向け認証や観光における動物福祉に関する新たなラウンドテーブルの紹介がありました。 午後には、GSTC会員でもあり本ワークショップのホストでもある札幌市とJaSCAによる取り組み紹介、グループディスカッション、活動の共有が行われました。本会合は、会員にとって知見の交換、多様な視点からの学び、そして日本におけるサステナブルツーリズムの推進力を高める貴重な機会となりました。
