The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) is developing a tailored Pre-Training Course on Sustainable Tourism for JTB Corp, designed to support and provide knowledge and practical tools, serving as a new step in strengthening JTB’s commitment to more responsible and sustainable tourism practices.
Conducted in Japanese with an English version available for overseas staff, the JTB-GSTC Sustainability Training Course will provide both staff and management with a solid foundation in sustainable tourism, aligned with the GSTC Standards. Japanese subtitles will be added to the Japanese-language training video, enhancing its accessibility for all staff.
The course will offer meaningful perspectives on core sustainability concepts, proven practices, and actionable approaches to incorporating sustainability into their work.

“For those unable to attend the full three-day GSTC Sustainable Tourism training, we have created a one-hour e-learning video in collaboration with GSTC. The video covers the basics of sustainable tourism, the GSTC Standards, and relevant case studies.
JTB’s initiatives that align with the GSTC Standards were introduced as best practices into the course, helping participants better envision sustainable tourism in action.
