The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) participated in the 7th edition of the HIC Summit, which took place in Ibiza, Spain, from October 15th to 17th, 2025. The summit brought together experts, institutions, and industry leaders to explore innovative and regenerative approaches to the future of tourism.
GSTC Chair Luigi Cabrini participated as one of the main speakers of the summit. He shared insights on global trends in sustainable tourism and the importance of adopting sustainability standards as a pathway toward a more resilient and inclusive future. Mr. Cabrini already had participated in the 2023 Summit as well as last year’s edition.
“It was a pleasure to take part again this year in the HIC Summit and exchange ideas with such an inspiring group of leaders and professionals driving positive change in the tourism sector, as together we acknowledge that by embracing sustainability standards, we move beyond good intentions to create real, lasting impact, for destinations, communities, and travelers alike.” Said Mr. Cabrini.
