
The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) has officially opened registration for the GSTC2026 Global Sustainable Tourism Conference, which will take place at Royal Phuket City Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town in Phuket, Thailand, from the 21st to the 24th of April, 2026.
The Conference aims to bring together global leaders, industry professionals, destination representatives, and experts committed to advancing sustainable tourism worldwide. By creating a collaborative environment, GSTC2026 will facilitate knowledge exchange, strengthen partnerships, and inspire collective action toward more sustainable and resilient tourism systems.
It will offer a dynamic program – soon to be unveiled, featuring keynote presentations, panel discussions, capacity-building sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities to strengthen sustainability practices across the tourism sector. Early bird discounted registration is now open until the 31st of December, 2025, with multiple categories available, and special discount rates apply to GSTC Members, ASEAN citizens, and Thailand residents. - Optional Pre-Conference Training Onsite: Participants can enhance their learning with additional pre-conference training delivered by GSTC Trainers. These trainings will provide a structured introduction to sustainable tourism principles and practical guidance on applying the GSTC Standards, the global standards for sustainability in travel and tourism. - GSTC Academic Symposium: The fourth edition will be held on April 21st, before the Conference. Bringing together experts from research, academia, and the tourism sector to engage in deep, solution-oriented conversations on today’s sustainability challenges.
