GSTC Sustainable Tourism Course in Tarvisio
Join the official GSTC Sustainable Tourism Course in Tarvisio, Italy, in collaboration with
Etifor, organized by the GSTC Italy Working Group. The training will be held on September 25th and 26th, 2025. 

The course is a great opportunity to get to know fellow colleagues and sustainability practitioners, enrich your understanding of Sustainable Tourism, and engage in debates, constructive conversations, and group exercises. 

The training will provide practical insights and expert guidance to help tourism destinations and businesses, at various stages of their sustainability journey, make informed decisions on implementing sustainability practices and developing viable sustainable tourism strategies for their organizations and destinations.

Sustainable Tourism Forum in Tarvisio

Tarvisio will also host the fifth edition of the Sustainable Tourism Forum on the 27th and 28th of September, one of the hubs of sustainability and corporate social responsibility in Italy. The main topics addressed by the forum will be: 

  • Stakeholder engagement in tourism
  • The relationship between tourism and nature
  • Certification as a means for collaboration

The Forum will bring together tourism professionals, destination managers, and other stakeholders to exchange experiences and discuss opportunities and challenges related to sustainable tourism. The event will include presentations and discussions on key sustainability topics in tourism, providing a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration. Luigi Cabrini, GSTC Chair, will participate in the Forum and present the latest news from GSTC.

This combined program offers participants the opportunity to deepen their understanding of sustainability in tourism and connect with peers who share similar goals.

This free event is also organized by members of the GSTC Italy Working Group on the occasion of World Tourism Day (Sept. 27)
