

From May 19 to 20, 2025, the GSTC Sustainable Tourism Course took place at Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Sponsored by Traveloka, the course brought together tourism and travel industry professionals to advance their knowledge and skills in sustainable tourism practices.
Facilitated by GSTC Trainer Kingston Khoo, the course offered participants valuable insights into global sustainability challenges and opportunities, fostering dynamic discussions and practical solutions. He provided attendees with essential skills to champion sustainable tourism practices. Participants had the opportunity to delve into the GSTC Standards, the global standards for sustainability in tourism and travel.
The session featured guest speaker Bruce Hope, a Water Expert from Brucore Global, who discussed technology and chemical solutions for drinking water, process water, and wastewater.
By fostering a dynamic and collaborative setting, the onsite training enabled the 16 participants to share professional experiences, engage in meaningful discussions, and identify practical solutions adapted to the Singaporean hospitality industry.
